I manage a diversified household farm in Kaliro, overseeing livestock, dairy production, crop production, farm records, budgeting, biosecurity, and local marketing.
My work spans cattle, goats, sheep, poultry, bananas, coffee, maize, and cassava, with practical responsibility for feeding, breeding, health monitoring, milking, planting, fertility management, and harvests.
Through Kulika Uganda and The Hunger Project Uganda, I mobilized farmer groups, supported land-use planning, facilitated participatory assessments, and trained farmers in sustainable crop, dairy, animal-health, soil, and pasture-management practices.
I also completed an agricultural apprenticeship at Kibbutz Gezer Dairy Farm in Israel, where I supported dairy herd operations and commercial equipment use, and researched how cow lameness affects milk yield and quality. I'm driven by food security, climate resilience, environmental conservation, and stronger rural livelihoods.
