Maggie Trzuskot
@maggietrzuskot
Experienced legal professional specializing in litigation support, policy, and immigration.
What I'm looking for
I am a dynamic legal professional with a J.D., M.P.A., and a strong grounding in litigation support, legal research, drafting, and policy analysis. I bring experience across pre-trial civil and criminal motion practice, immigration law, and governance.
As an independent contractor and law clerk, I drafted a broad range of legal documents including asylum briefs, motions for summary judgment, immigration bond redeterminations, appeals, and civil complaints. I have courtroom experience supporting felony trial matters and appellate briefing.
In public-sector roles I produced policy research, briefing notes, governance structures, and evaluations for agencies such as the Treasury Board Secretariat, Health Canada, the Office of the Taxpayers’ Ombudsman, and the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation.
I work well remotely, prioritize critical thinking and high-quality drafting, and am bilingual in English and Polish. I am interested in tech, AI, and wellness, and seek creative, motivating roles in legal support, paralegal, in-house counsel, policy, or corporate analysis.
