What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach English in a supportive, standards-focused environment where I can use data-driven strategies, technology, and collaborative PLC work to raise reading comprehension and writing skills—and help students prepare for the ACT.

I’m an English teacher focused on developing engaging lessons aligned with Tennessee state standards. With over 5 years of experience in education, I use data-driven strategies to strengthen reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and ACT readiness, while building a positive, accountable classroom culture.

In my current role with Greene County School System, I craft rigorous, standards-aligned instruction, develop assessments, and modify teaching based on student performance. I also incorporate technology to boost engagement, collaborate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), maintain proactive communication with parents and guardians, and support ACT tutoring and extracurricular opportunities.
