Data Manager translating livestock data into decisions and measurable herd gains.
What I'm looking for
I’m a self-starter who maintains and manages cattle data systems, including herd inventory, breeding records, health treatments, and production metrics for over 700 animals. I interpret and present data to upper management to support herd-related decisionmaking, analyze performance to spot trends and inefficiencies, and generate regular reports on herd health, growth rates, reproduction, and profitability.
I also ensure data integrity by troubleshooting discrepancies, implementing and improving data collection processes, and integrating technologies like RFID tags, sensors, and herd management software. Beyond data work, I bring operational leadership from supervising facility operations (including enforcing safety standards with a team of 12) and business ownership—founding and managing a direct-to-consumer beef tallow brand with responsibility for production, sourcing, branding, e-commerce sales, inventory, and order fulfillment.
