I’m a results-driven HR Generalist with over 10 years of progressive HR experience across academic and research institutions, including extensive exposure to higher education environments. I lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits, leave management, termination support, and HR policy compliance—always with a focus on accuracy, audit readiness, and South African labour legislation.
Since 2018, as a Human Resources Officer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal—WASH Research and Development Centre—I provide proactive, integrated HR advisory and operational support across all HR functions. I administer and report employee data on HR i-Enabler HRIS, compile evidence-based HR metrics, support performance management and disciplinary proceedings, and streamline HR service delivery to reduce turnaround times.
