What I'm looking for

A senior IC seat where I build and own applied AI and automation systems end to end, on a product or platform team, or as a forward deployed engineer who sits with customers, scopes the problem and builds the fix. Remote, already working a US overlap from UTC+8. Based in the Philippines, so hiring works as a contractor or through an employer of record.

Sole software and automation engineer for a US managed service provider, where the AI and automation capability was built from zero: the automation platform on Azure, the applied LLM systems running on it, and the AI-assisted development practice the engineering team now builds with. The platform carries 2.1 million successful executions over twelve continuous months and is the production home of five systems, including AI ticket intelligence over the live ticketing system and a customer-sentiment escalation loop that leadership and account management have answered 108 times. The development practice grew from one seat to 22 active members.

Alongside the platform I deliver client engagements end to end, from scoping and estimation through build and handover: 1,309 hours across 45 client organizations and 22 projects since 2024, as much of it inherited as green-field. Recent work includes a 26-job monitoring platform across 55 customer tenants on Azure Container Apps declared in Bicep, a cloud-to-cloud Jira migration that moved 83,722 issues in one production cutover, and taking over a decade-old production CRM as its only developer.

I also founded YenkoDev, a registered Philippine software studio, where I decided the stack and specified the build for about ten developers, and led delivery of a creator content platform shipped to the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Before software came the network years: Accenture, hired directly into its senior analyst grade, automating monitoring and change work with Python and Selenium on platforms that had no API; and Huawei telecom cloud core, where a Bash security assessment across more than fifty virtual machines won the Galloping Horse Award. CCNP Enterprise and a Philippine Electronics Engineer licence.

Automated a telecom operator's Linux security risk assessment in Bash, replacing per-host manual review of OS hardening, PAM, syslog and iptables across more than fifty virtual machines.
