Lorena Dushkaj

I’m a health sciences student and licensed pharmacist with 10+ years of experience managing a pharmacy independently. I’m transitioning into biostatistics and data analytics, with training in Python, R, and health data analysis.

In my current role as Owner & Pharmacist, I manage all aspects of pharmacy operations independently—clinical, administrative, and financial. I maintain accurate records, inventory systems, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while providing direct patient care and medication guidance.

I’ve also built my analytics foundation through real-world healthcare context and hands-on practice. My Healthcare Data Analysis project used Python (Pandas) to clean sample datasets and perform basic exploratory data analysis and visualization; I’m continuing R programming practice projects in progress.

I’m seeking entry-level or internship opportunities in biostatistics, health data, or analytics (remote preferred). My strengths are independent problem-solving from running a business alone, strong attention to detail, and healthcare domain expertise that I can bring to data-driven decision-making.
