Compassionate bilingual advocate focused on mental health for all.
What I'm looking for
I am a compassionate and bilingual advocate dedicated to improving the mental health of underrepresented groups. With a Master of Social Work from Georgia State University, I have honed my skills in community outreach, client rights advocacy, and crisis intervention. My experience includes working as a Behavioral Therapist at Agape Therapeutic Services, where I successfully reduced challenging behaviors through functional behavior assessments and tailored interventions.
Throughout my career, I have actively engaged with diverse communities, facilitating support groups and presenting to law enforcement to foster understanding and compassion towards individuals in crisis. My volunteer work with organizations like the National Alliance on Mental Illnesses (NAMI) and the Bethesda Mobile Health Clinic has further solidified my commitment to advocating for mental health awareness and support. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment for clients and utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance treatment plans.
