What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a social work role where trauma-informed, evidence-based care drives client progress—through counseling, group facilitation, assessments, and structured recovery planning—within a supportive, interdisciplinary team focused on growth.

I’m an MSW graduate student building my career in mental health through direct client work, structured recovery support, and evidence-based interventions. In residential and school settings, I facilitate psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups, provide individual counseling, and help clients strengthen daily living routines, medication adherence, and independent living skills.

I’m especially drawn to roles where trauma-informed care and interdisciplinary collaboration lead to measurable progress. I support weekly goal setting and case review meetings, conduct psychosocial assessments, coordinate referrals to community resources, and maintain ethical documentation. Alongside practice, I’ve conducted research on “Machismo in Latino Communities and its Relationship with Mental Health,” using both qualitative and quantitative methods and analyzing data with the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS), and I’m trained in CITI research design and CPR.
