What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a pediatric speech therapy role where I can support children with special needs, document progress, and educate caregivers—working closely with licensed clinicians and a collaborative team to improve communication outcomes.

I’m a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant with hands-on experience providing pediatric clinical and rehabilitative speech and language services under the proposed treatment program of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. I support children with special needs while staying goal-oriented, organized, and detail-directed in every step of therapy and documentation.

In home and school settings, I recorded type of treatment and patient performance in very detailed daily clinical notes, maintained clinical records for IEPs, and documented performance for monthly progress reports and report cards. I also educated patient and family on preventative and rehabilitative procedures to strengthen outcomes beyond sessions.

My work includes assisting bilingual Speech Language Pathologists with materials for expressive/receptive language disorder and articulation, as well as supporting caregiver understanding through clinician-developed resources. During my practicums, I conducted thorough evaluations under supervision, helped develop goals, and supported clients in producing correct tongue positions, jaw movements, and American English pronunciation.

Beyond clinical support, I’ve brought teaching and classroom experience from Montessori settings—assisting with daily programs, supervising weekly lessons and classroom activities, and working with children ages 2 through 12. I’m also comfortable with administrative workflows (scheduling, records, payments) and have contributed to social media marketing projects within deadlines.
