What I'm looking for

I seek a client-facing animal-care role combining hands-on welfare, customer engagement, and administrative responsibilities in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

I am a dedicated animal-care and customer-service professional with hands-on experience across rehoming centres, farms, and visitor-facing roles. I combine practical animal welfare skills with reliable administrative capability to support smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.

In my current roles I work as a receptionist at Charnwood Forest Alpacas and volunteer with Greyhound Trust, providing daily care, enrichment, and behavioural observations for animals awaiting rehoming. I have provided first aid and supported routine and emergency health tasks under supervision.

Previously, I worked as a laboratory technician and dispatch assistant at Socotec UK where I followed strict procedures, handled sample registration and data entry, and communicated with clients about testing requirements. I have also volunteered at Blue Cross Rehoming Centre and worked on community projects with Birmingham PlayCare Network, gaining administrative, shop management and content-creation experience.

I am organized under pressure, comfortable engaging with the public, and committed to animal welfare and positive rehoming outcomes. I look for roles where I can contribute practical care, clear communication, and dependable administration to support animals and the people who care for them.
