What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a hands-on animal care role focused on horse welfare and exercise, where I can apply my equine handling, grooming and veterinary-assistance skills, grow professionally, and work collaboratively in an animal-centered team.

I am a passionate animal care professional focused on horse welfare and exercise, with practical experience across equine, small mammal and avian care.

I gained hands-on experience as a live-in horse groomer, voluntary farmer and kennel assistant, responsible for exercising and lunging horses and dogs, grooming, feeding and daily health checks.

In a veterinary practice I supported consults by handling and restraining animals, preparing medication, taking temperature checks and helping manage emergencies, which strengthened my clinical confidence and client communication.

I hold Level 2 and Level 3 animal management qualifications (including distinctions in the Level 3 Extended Certificate) and bring strong time management, organisation and teamwork; I am eager to return to equine-focused roles to further develop my skills.
