Liane Al Ghusain

I founded TheScribes, a copywriting and brand strategy agency serving finance, aviation, culture, hospitality, and government clients across the MENA region. For 15+ years, I’ve developed brand voice, narrative architecture, website and product copy, editorial strategy, and thought leadership.

I led the National Bank of Kuwait website relaunch, shaping its narrative architecture and UX content strategy while coordinating stakeholders. My client work also includes Jazeera Airways, Nuqat, Diyar, Al Prime Capital, Hesabe, Canar Holding, Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Cultural Center, and Albumii.

Across BabNimNim and Raw Design Studio, I led naming, copywriting, and content strategy for fashion, food and beverage, travel, and cosmetics brands across packaging, menus, environmental graphics, and product touchpoints.

I’ve also built cultural institutions and public-facing narratives, from founding Contemporary Art Platform Kuwait to directing storytelling at Nuqat. I’m a published writer with graduate training in English from Stanford and an MFA in Art & Media from NYU Abu Dhabi.
