At Atlantic Economic Council, I conducted applied economic and policy research on regional economies, industries, labour markets, investment, and socioeconomic trends. I also produced economic indicators and forecasts to help assess regional conditions and growth.
My research there examined clean-job potential and workforce needs in emerging energy industries, including offshore wind. I assessed employer demand, workforce capacity, and training needs to identify skills gaps and workforce challenges.
Earlier, as a Researcher at Atlantic Economic Council, I surveyed project proponents and consulted public-sector representatives about major capital investment projects across Atlantic Canada. I maintained project-level datasets and analyzed investment patterns and regional developments.
At Centre for the Study of Living Standards, I compiled and analyzed 20 economic indicators for The Atlantic Canada Momentum Index. I also contributed to research on investment performance and the Index of Economic Well-Being for the Ontario Ministry of Finance.
