At the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario, I lead quantitative work on criminal caseload forecasting, court performance monitoring and sentencing disparity research. I designed and productionized a monthly court-receipts forecasting pipeline, and I build automated Power BI dashboards for senior management.
At Legal Aid Ontario, I built a logistic-regression eligibility model that reduced client intake time by about 25% and developed statistical screening to flag anomalous activity for review. I also designed client and service-provider surveys and built forecasting models for budgeting and resource planning.
Through NorthLaw.ai, I design, validate and deploy statistical models of court and tribunal outcomes, with held-out validation and leakage audits. I also teach statistics, experimental design, machine learning and applied data science, drawing on my experience in university teaching and quantitative research.
