Lena Mattis

I’m a Master’s student in Intercultural Communication, and I’ve built hands-on experience in marketing, project coordination, and people-focused initiatives. I’m passionate about creating meaningful relationships, improving processes, and helping fast-growing international teams move with clarity and care.

In my current role as a Working Student at the European Patent Institute, I manage a pilot mentoring program and develop and maintain training materials on Moodle. I also implement marketing activities such as newsletters, podcasts, and e-mail campaigns, while supporting internal and external communications.

Previously, I managed mentoring programs at ROCKYOURLIFE! gGmbH and coordinated mentoring and outreach for initiatives tied to Amazon Future Engineer. I planned and executed live events, liaised with mentors and mentees, and delivered marketing work including emails, newsletters, and flyers.

Earlier experience includes internship work at the Goethe-Institute, where I coordinated language teachers and course participants, prepared training materials, and planned German Culture Days. I also held a Marketing & Organization Manager position for ISPO and served as a Trainee in campaign and content management, including social media recruiting for trainees.
