I’m looking for a backend role where I can own distributed system architecture—event-driven pipelines, CQRS/event modeling, and reliable migrations—with strong code quality, observability, and room to keep performance measurable end to end.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 16+ years building high-throughput distributed systems. I specialize in event-driven architecture, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design, with a strong focus on production reliability and measurable quality.

In my recent work, I owned end-to-end architecture and delivery of a real-time data ingestion platform for an ad tech bidding system during an AWS-to-GCP migration. I architected an Aerospike-based pipeline processing 3.2 billion records daily (350,000+ writes/second) and completed the migration within 4.5 months of joining, while keeping code quality high (89–96% test coverage, <5 production bugs/year).

I’m also known for practical troubleshooting and engineering discipline under load. I diagnosed bidder-Aerospike connection pool exhaustion and redesigned the write flow to reduce overhead, aligning skeptical stakeholders with staged evidence and monitoring via Datadog. I’ve built and introduced supporting frameworks too—like a Go-based acceptance testing framework that caught a serialization bug before production and was later adopted for infrastructure migration validation.

As a Software Architect, I led a full technology transition for TaxEngine (C# to Java) with TDD mentorship, then pioneered Event Modeling as an organizational practice to drive adoption of event-driven architecture with CQRS and Axon Framework. I’ve also delivered integration-heavy platforms—introducing Kafka processing layers, anti-corruption design, DLQs for failure isolation, and per-entity ordering—to keep systems resilient and evolving safely.
