I’m looking for a role where I can lead backend architecture and modernization—microservices, event streaming, and reliability improvements—while mentoring engineers and aligning technical decisions with business outcomes.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 20+ years of experience building scalable backend and cloud-native systems. My focus is modern backend architecture—microservices, distributed systems, and high-traffic REST APIs—grounded in strong Java and Spring Boot delivery.

Recently, I led a merchandising technology upgrade that included an R2DBC migration, increasing simultaneous application connections from 200 to 4000. I also created a Kafka Keep-Alive library that eliminated 100% of stale producers and prevented message loss across 50+ microservices, standardizing reliability as a project-wide commons component.

I’ve built and maintained REST + GraphQL APIs using Apollo Federation, and I developed a batch job framework while training 15 developers. I actively partner with observability tooling—troubleshooting infra issues using Dynatrace and Splunk to address memory leaks and timeouts.

Earlier, as a Tech Lead, I improved billing throughput by 6× using Spring Batch and infrastructure scaling, and I implemented payment retry with exponential backoff using ActiveMQ scheduled messaging. I also raised engineering quality through end-to-end testing (Selenium Grid + Cucumber), cutting execution time from 11 hours to 1 hour, and I coached teams on clean code practices.
