Lasith Haputhanthri

At Aura Digital Labs, I work as an Electronic Engineer while completing my B.Sc. Eng. (Hons.) in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering at University of Moratuwa. My ongoing final-year project focuses on designing a CW radar system for drone detection, including RF front-end and signal processing; I’m contributing to antenna design, PCB design, and CW signal processing.

During my internship at Magicbits PVT LTD, I implemented firmware for an HMI-based employee progress tracking system for Ansell Lanka. It used RFID sensors to collect data and display it in a ThingsBoard dashboard, and I tested it in a pilot project with 20 devices.

My projects span embedded systems, RF, and digital hardware. I contributed to SteerSafe, an EOG-based drowsiness detection wearable that won the IEEE Circuit Challenge 2024, and developed FPGA designs including a SIMD processor architecture for CNN computations and a 32-bit floating-point unit.
