What I'm looking for

I seek roles developing medical devices or assistive technologies that combine hardware and ML, offering mentorship, hands-on engineering, and impact in low-resource healthcare settings.

I am a third-year Biomedical Engineering undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa, dedicated to applying electronics, robotics, machine learning, and signal processing to create accessible healthcare solutions. I have designed and developed multiple hardware-software systems, including a BLE-enabled portable spirometer with a patent-pending removable mouthpiece and EEG-based communication systems for paralyzed patients.

My hands-on projects span medical robotics, autonomous mobile robots, and real-time computer-vision applications, using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Arduino, ESP32, SolidWorks, and Altium. I contribute to university clubs and volunteer organizations, and I seek roles where I can advance medical instrumentation, HCI, and assistive technologies in low-resource settings.
