What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can own product UI/UX, build responsive front-end experiences (Angular JS/JS), and collaborate closely with developers and marketers while continually expanding my design and engineering skills.

I’m a Sri Lanka-based UI/UX Engineer and Product UI/UX designer with nearly 12 years of experience across head-to-head design and front-end implementation. I hold a Bachelor of Information [UCSC BIT] from the University of Colombo (since 2015), and I’m known for being responsible, organised, communicative, and detail-oriented.

In my current role, UI/UX Engineer – Product Designer at Q2 Solutions (11/2016 - 01/2026) in Colombo, I help shape two cloud-based systems—Sidekick and Escape—built as Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and powered by AWS. I work with web developers, content managers, and online marketers, handling responsive UI mock-ups and advanced front-end coding in Angular JS, JavaScript, and jQuery, while leveraging Telerik Kendo UI components for charts, grids, and inputs.

Previously, I strengthened my web and graphic design foundation as Other Web and Graphic Designer (07/2015 - 11/2016) and Senior Web Designer at 3CS (09/2013 - 06/2015), where I worked across PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SEO-focused web technologies, and client-oriented design briefs. I also design for iOS/Android mobile app experiences and bring a continuous-learning mindset—pushing boundaries while expanding my skill set.
