Kshitij Narayan Kulkarni

I’m a Computer Science and Engineering student and a Software Engineering Intern at a Stealth Startup (OwlAI), where I architect production-facing AI learning experiences for UGC NET and government-exam preparation. I focus on building systems that are reliable, secure, and grounded—especially when responses must cite sources.

In my current role, I’ve engineered a Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipeline using Pinecone vector search and FastAPI retrieval services, including context assembly and LLM API integration. I also designed backend orchestration that connects frontend clients, authentication, Firestore, Pinecone, and AI services—implementing token verification, rate limiting, CORS policies, request tracing, structured error handling, and secure REST API workflows.

I enjoy end-to-end engineering: from real-time learning workflows (chat history, quiz analytics, progress tracking, adaptive mock-test experiences) to internal CRM/LMS automation with RBAC and tenant scoping. I’ve also productionized containerized services with Docker and Google Cloud Run, and earned recognition as a LiFT Scholar 2025 and in multiple hackathons for AI and Go-based projects.
