What I'm looking for
I am a passionate crop researcher currently working at the Sekota Dryland Agricultural Research Center in Ethiopia. My journey in plant science began with a Bachelor of Science degree from Wollo University, where I graduated with an excellent CGPA of 3.92/3.96. Over the years, I have honed my skills in crop improvement practices, data collection, and analysis, contributing significantly to various research projects aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity in dryland areas.
My professional experience includes leading research activities, writing research proposals, and participating in capacity-building workshops. I have been recognized for my academic achievements with awards, including a project proposal reward from the International Development Research Center. I am committed to addressing the challenges faced by smallholder farmers in Ethiopia by developing improved crop varieties that are resilient to biotic and abiotic stresses.
