Kimberly Stone

At Western Governors University, I support, coach, and guide a caseload of students as a Senior Program Mentor. I monitor progress, provide proactive outreach, and collaborate with Enrollment, Clinical Experience, School of Education, and leadership teams to advance student success.

I've trained new mentors, served as a peer mentor, and presented professional development sessions on Radical Candor and From Good to Great to Unstoppable. I also co-created a student-centered podcast focused on student success and contribute to pilot programs and team-based evaluations.

Before WGU, I spent many years at Parkridge Elementary School teaching inclusive and self-contained special education classrooms. I developed differentiated, standards-aligned instruction; led IEP meetings and evaluations; supervised instructional staff; and supported classrooms of 25–35 learners with varied needs.

I'm a servant leader who sees challenges as opportunities for growth and values teamwork, commitment, accountability, and meaningful support for learners.
