At Portuguese Institute of Oncology (IPO Porto), I process and track DNA samples and perform qPCR genotyping for a project evaluating CXCL12 polymorphisms and SARS-CoV-2 susceptibility in cancer patients. I also organize results for downstream statistical analysis.
At the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, I investigate the potential role of AGPs in brassinosteroid signaling within pistil tissues. I perform genomic DNA extraction, conventional PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis and DNA enzymatic digestion.
I’m a Biology graduate from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, interested in pursuing a career in Molecular Diagnostics and Biotechnology. My laboratory experience includes following established protocols and supporting work in regulated environments.
