At i3S Bioinformatics Platform, I analyze next-generation sequencing data for biomedical research and develop, implement, and maintain reproducible workflows. I deploy these workflows on local systems and HPC environments, following established protocols and using statistical and machine-learning methods.
For my PhD dissertation, I developed scalable, reproducible approaches for high-dimensional biological data and integrated transcriptomics, DNA methylation, and histological images to predict demographic and clinical phenotypes. My research included a scalable transcriptomics analysis with Dask and resulted in peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
