At ICAR-National Research Center on Equines, I isolated and characterized bacteriophages against emerging pathogens. I also bulked phages for identification using a nanopore sequencer and designed experiments while maintaining characterized phage records.
At Maharshi Dayanand University, I led microbial isolation, biochemical characterization, and molecular identification studies. I applied bioinformatics approaches to sequence analysis and molecular characterization, and coordinated research planning, documentation, and project execution.
At the Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory, PGIMS, I performed RNA extraction and real-time PCR for COVID-19, interpreted results, and supported infectious disease surveillance using RT-PCR, ELISA, and rapid immunodiagnostic testing. My other research includes viral characterization and fungal protein production, purification, and enzymatic characterization.
