I've contributed to FMD vaccination research at ICAR–IVRI, supporting a DST-SERB funded project that resulted in two peer-reviewed publications in 2025.
I culture and maintain BHK-21 cell lines, produce and standardize FMD virus stocks, and conduct ELISA and Virus Neutralization Tests to evaluate cattle antibody responses. I also analyze experimental datasets and contribute to technical reports and scientific publications.
Previously at ICAR–NIANP, I isolated and characterized lipolytic bacteria from sheep rumen for the Veterinary Type Culture Collection of Rumen Microbes project. I performed DNA extraction, 16S rRNA PCR, sequence analysis, and phylogenetic interpretation using BLAST and MEGA.
