I am a seasoned interpreter and translator with over four years of experience providing expert services in Sahel and Saharan languages, including Pulaar/Fulfulde, Arabic, Dazaga, Tedaga, Zarma, Tagdal, Tadaksahak, Hausa, French, and English. My work is characterized by linguistic precision, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to deliver high-stakes interpretations under tight timelines. I am adept in various modalities, including phone, video, live events, liaison, and community outreach, and I am prepared to support African-language programming.

In my recent role as an Interpreter for the Hausa/Fulfulde Immersion Program in Adamawa, Nigeria, I provided telephone interpretation and translation services, adapting support for Mandarin and Spanish as needed. I was recognized by the CEO for translating and proofreading ten high-priority documents eight days ahead of the deadline. My experience also includes collaborating with executive leaders to design translation tools and best practices, ensuring accuracy while interpreting for audiences with diverse accents and dialects.

As a freelance translator and interpreter, I have worked with various clients, translating medical and legal documents and interpreting court proceedings between English, French, Hausa, and Pulaar. I have organized cross-cultural home visits with social workers and educators, and developed educational manuscripts and multimedia tools to support underrepresented African-language learners.
