Aspiring Medical Records Specialist with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
What I'm looking for
My name is Kenya N. Felder, and I am currently pursuing a Medical Records/Medical Billing and Coding Certificate from the University of Phoenix, where I maintain a GPA of 3.5. I am passionate about developing hands-on skills in a healthcare environment, particularly in the areas of accuracy and compliance. My goal is to leverage my expertise in medical records and coding in a new career position.
With a background in child development, I have honed my communication and organizational skills while providing care and support to children at various child development centers. My experience includes roles as a Teacher and Infant Caregiver, where I ensured that children met their developmental milestones and maintained a safe environment. This experience has equipped me with valuable skills in customer service, written and verbal communication, and adherence to regulations such as HIPAA.
