Ken Tuei

I am a full-stack web developer with formal training in Software Engineering from Moringa School and a Bachelor of Business and Information Technology from Mount Kenya University. I specialize in designing and delivering scalable web applications using React, Flask, Python, JavaScript, and SQL databases.

I have built end-to-end projects including a marketplace platform with authentication, search filters, admin approval, e-commerce features and M-Pesa integration, demonstrating practical experience in frontend, backend, and payments integration. I also developed object-oriented Python systems and responsive JavaScript frontends focused on user experience.

My professional experience includes freelance web development—creating responsive React and .NET Core applications, designing REST APIs and database schemas—and an IT attachee role supporting troubleshooting, data collection, and reporting at a national health institution. I have contributed to administrative and cultural programs at the Ministry of Education, earning certificates of appreciation and participation.

I work well in agile teams, participate in code reviews, and prioritize security, scalability, and maintainability. I am committed to continuous learning, DevOps practices including Docker and CI/CD, and deploying applications to cloud platforms such as AWS.
