What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a healthcare-focused role where I can lead editorial strategy and thought leadership writing. I thrive with tight daily deadlines, collaboration with clinical and marketing teams, and AI-enabled workflows that keep content clear, accurate, and audience-first.

I’m a medical writer and content strategist with 18+ years of experience producing thought leadership, editorial content, and brand storytelling for healthcare and scientific organizations. My focus is turning dense, technical subject matter into clear, audience-first writing that still delivers organizational messaging goals.

I’ve written across formats including news, long- and short-form features, newsletters, social media, white papers, and web copy—often in fast-paced environments with daily deadlines. As a regular Axios reader, I rely on Smart Brevity to keep complex guidance accessible, including translating FDA, CDC, and HHS information into concise stories.

In my recent role, I produced branded and editorial content across platform, clinical news, and product features—serving both audience needs and sponsor priorities. I also developed SEO-driven content and channel-specific copy for Reddit, Instagram, and LinkedIn, collaborating with marketing, UX, and physician editors to keep every piece aligned with brand voice and audience expectations. I’ve built AI-enabled content workflows using Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini to accelerate production without compromising quality.

Earlier in my career, I led content strategy and production for a national reference laboratory, overseeing thought leadership, brand storytelling, and organizational communications across digital and print channels. I developed editorial style guides used across writing teams, taught quarterly company-wide writing courses, and began by building and maintaining corporate documentation for regulatory compliance.
