At Lake Smit & Partners, I assist the Accounts Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the accounts department and the collections process, including debt collection and follow-up.
I work with bookings and scheduling, authorisations, IOD, medical-aid-liable and patient-liable departments. I also handle medical aid and private patient account queries and support their resolution.
At Lancet Laboratories, I started as a medical receptionist before moving to the cash office, where I handled banking, account queries, journals and write-offs. I now train and support the patient-liable team and monitor call compliance.
