What I'm looking for

I'm open to full-time, contract, or consulting opportunities where I can modernize Java applications, design cloud and database architectures, and support mission-critical government or enterprise systems. I'm willing to travel up to 25%.

I've served as the sole architect and developer for Georgia's Court Process Reporting System, supporting more than 2,000 active users in the child welfare system. I migrated CPRS from Solaris to Linux on AWS and modernized it from Java 6 to Java 17 while maintaining production availability.

My work spans AWS architecture with EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch; Oracle database design; and SOAP integrations with Georgia SHINES for case-data synchronization and document sharing. I've built court workflow, electronic filing, compliance-alert, and timeline-tracking capabilities, along with more than 200 Oracle tables, procedures, and triggers.

Earlier, I architected data and interfaces for Georgia SHINES, helped deliver the original CPRS platform, and founded an internet development team at Allied Holdings/IBM. Across 35+ years, I've built Java enterprise applications, led full lifecycles, set technology standards, and mentored development teams.
