Provided batch and online production support for CMS-related workflows, handling Java exceptions and correcting data and/or code. Used JIRA for Agile-Scrum tickets, OpenSearch logs for findings, GitHub for code/signoffs, and DBeaver for DB2/PostgreSQL support.

Converted DB2 mainframe queries embedded in COBOL into Postgres queries for CMS claims processing. Implemented MyBatis mappings/DTOs for batch and UI, and supported REST web services using Postman, including work supporting an AWS migration/modernization effort.

Provided Linux server support, including Kubernetes extension deployments, and identified software vulnerabilities with proposed solutions. Performed weekend deployments using AWS desktop and Linux CLI.

Developed SOAP web services in Java 8 to replace GUI calls to an inventory system. Tested services with JUnit and SOAPUI and maintained database mappings using SQLDeveloper with Oracle SQL.

Provided development and production support for booking and catalog service APIs using REST/SOAP. Worked with Java 8, Spring Boot, Tomcat, MSSQL, CI/CD deployment via Jenkins, and API testing with Postman/SOAPUI.

Provided software production support for the NCL reservation system airline interface. Developed REST services using Scala/Java 7 and frameworks/tools including JPlay, akka, Node.js, and SBT.

Supported migration of an eMRO desktop application to a Java web application. Built the web application with JSF/Hibernate/Spring MVC/PrimeFaces and REST services using Jersey (tested with Postman), deployed on Apache Tomcat and GlassFish.

Provided Java production support and SQL development, including log-based troubleshooting of Java exceptions. Supported IBM BusinessObjects reporting, wrote and ran SQL for client requests, converted outputs to Excel, and ran weekly batch production updates.

Supported a Java web vehicle tracking inventory system deployed on Tomcat. Delivered backend and presentation layer enhancements, performed SQL conversion/mapping updates, and handled incident resolution and support.

Maintained a Java web medical application portal and rewrote an insurance application using MyBatis persistence. Performed on-call duties, mentored junior developers, and supported core web/database technologies used in daily work.

Rewrote part of a Java web DoD inventory management application using Spring MVC concepts and Hibernate. Focused on backend (Hibernate) implementation and participated in Agile scrum sessions.

Provided maintenance support for a Java web inventory application (LogSA) using JSF and Spring with stored procedures. Used IntelliJ and Toad as part of the maintenance workflow.

Supported Air University admission and enrollment Java web applications using an MVC structure with JSPs, Struts, and EJB 3.0. Worked with Hibernate, PL/SQL, Ant builds, SVN, and Oracle 10g (OC4J/Orion).

Developed and supported parts of a Java web application for medical insurance claims inquiries. Used JSP/Struts with DB2 stored procedures and iBatis, and supported with Spring and EJB session beans.

Developed Java billing system programs on WebSphere and supported mainframe maintenance work. Worked with JDBC (DB2 mainframe), Servlets/JSP, and Web Services, alongside COBOL/CICS/DB2 batch maintenance.

Supported the electronic banking system for batch and online processing in an OS/390 environment. Also worked on Unix-based internet banking customization using WebSphere/Java and WSAD, interfacing with DB2.

Provided Y2K support to messaging and warehouse systems by enhancing/modifying COBOL and Easytrieve programs and supporting conversion to client-server Java on Unix. Led QA compliance activities and developed REXX panels for the QA department.

Supported a shareholder and transactions database on an IBM mainframe and developed test plans based on commissions department requests. Assisted QA in testing enhancements and verified data changes were implemented correctly.

Supported cellular phones billing systems, writing and debugging batch and online programs in a mainframe environment. Worked with OS MVS, TSO/ISPF, CICS, VSAM, COBOL, Easytrieve, and IMS DL/I.

Supported time deposit banking applications by writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs for batch and online systems. Developed test plans and assisted QA, including participating in an application package conversion to OS/MVS.

Studied Mathematics as a major with a minor in Computer Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.
