What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead emergency department quality and patient safety initiatives—pairing clinical expertise with coaching, workflow optimization, and evidence-based practice to improve throughput and outcomes.

I’m a Nursing Supervisor in the Emergency Department, leading department-wide performance improvement that focuses on patient safety and key performance indicators. I drive change through research, audits, interviews, and translating findings into better processes.

Some of my impact includes decreasing left-without-being-seen rates and reducing blood culture contamination. I support quality, safety, and education by preparing materials, conducting audits, and ensuring follow through on identified issues.

I also optimize workflows by developing organizational tools and spreadsheets that streamline processes for leadership and improve efficiency. I coach staff on documentation and patient care through feedback, accountability conversations, and reinforcement of clinical standards.

I manage daily operations for a 45-bed ED by scheduling 60+ employees, adjusting staffing based on needs, and coordinating resources to maintain throughput and patient safety. I’ve also served as Charge RN as an escalation contact, improving patient throughput during high volume periods and partnering with administrators and physicians to resolve issues and ensure appropriate bed placement.
