What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a trauma-focused emergency nursing role where I can lead charge workflow, mentor staff, and grow clinically through evidence-based practice and continuing education.

I’m an Emergency Department Charge Nurse in a Level II trauma center, responsible for daily operations and flow within a 29-acute bed emergency department, and a leader/resource for clinical staff. I bring a strong focus on patient triage and focused assessment, prioritizing treatment based on acuity and presentation while maintaining high standards of care in a fast-paced environment.

My background includes Registered Nurse experience in Level I and Level III trauma settings, including travel assignments that strengthened my ability to quickly acclimate to new environments, protocols, and charting workflows. I’ve worked with EPIC charting and Meditech EMR, and I’ve been especially experienced in infection control and evolving policies through dedicated COVID-19 unit responsibilities.

I also build credibility beyond the bedside: I’ve served as an EMT and as an EMT Class Skills Lab Instructor, teaching hands-on emergency medicine skills that connect directly to NYS protocols and documentation standards. With certifications including PCCN, TNCC, and ENPC, plus AHA ACLS and BLS/CPR & First Aid instruction, I’m driven by evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary teamwork, and efficient transfer of care.
