At Healthcare Management Source, LLC, I serve as an operating partner to physician owners at four interventional pain and spine practices. I take engagements from diagnosis through execution, building workflows and reporting results against the metrics owners prioritize.
I manage coverage and authorization requirements across Medicare jurisdictions and state workers’ compensation systems. I also hire and train practice teams and create SOPs, payer guidance, and audit tools that connect decisions to coverage criteria.
At Ainsworth Institute of Pain Management, I reduced denial and appeal rates from 33% to 2% and increased collections by 31% after retraining and supervising the authorization team. I also co-developed and co-managed the in-house ASC and supported clinical research operations across concurrent studies.
At Columbia University Medical Center, I administered the professional revenue cycle in Epic and coordinated surgical scheduling around authorization approvals, OR availability, and physician calendars. I’ve also served as practice management faculty at the NANS Annual Meeting.
