At Menta Tech Academy, I delivered remote special education instruction for high school PE and elective courses while supporting individualized learning needs across a caseload of 30 students.
I wrote IEPs, participated in IEP meetings, and used student performance data to monitor progress and adjust instruction. I also served as a Spanish translator for parents, helping make home-school communication clearer and more accessible.
I helped facilitate PBIS assemblies and school-wide social-emotional learning and life skills activities. I trained new paraprofessionals and teachers and served as a PLC lead teacher.
At School District U-46, I supported high school special education classrooms and prepared adapted materials for individualized and small-group academic and behavioral support. I maintained student progress documentation and helped teachers make informed instructional decisions.
