What I'm looking for
I’m a Claims/Customer Services Specialist Sr. at the Department of Public Safety - Office of Justice Programs (MN Crime Victims Reimbursement Board), processing awards/payments to claimants and service providers, preparing finance orders, and verifying vendor numbers for payments. I manage pending restitution documentation, notify claimants/providers when items like W9 are needed, and maintain the provider database in CAWEB while tracking deposits, refunds, and check requests in SWIFT.
Earlier, I worked as an Office/Admin Specialist (2017-2022) as the first point of contact for victims and families, handled incident/case questions, and assisted advocates and providers with program eligibility and process inquiries by phone, text, and email. I’ve also supported healthcare eligibility and enrollment using Curam/METS (MNSure) and managed appointment scheduling and medical records in clinic settings—bringing a detail-oriented, fast-learning, customer-first approach to every interaction.
