What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a point-of-care clinical leadership role where I can apply my charge nursing experience, support staff, and contribute to safe, coordinated patient care.

At Hospital for Special Care, I serve as a charge nurse, coordinating shift operations, staffing assignments, patient flow, and admissions, discharges, and transfers. I also support nursing staff as a clinical resource and train new employees.

I care for medically complex LTACH patients, including people who are ventilator-dependent or have complex wounds and multisystem comorbidities. I coordinate care with providers, respiratory therapists, LVAD coordinators, and cardiology teams to support continuity and safe transitions.

At Waterbury Hospital’s Emergency Department, I provide care for acute illness, traumatic injury, and life-threatening conditions. I perform rapid assessments, prioritize care using ESI principles, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during resuscitations and emergency stabilization.

My earlier nursing experience includes high-acuity care in Hartford Hospital’s Neuro Trauma ICU. For my MSN capstone, I developed a bedside handoff and patient safety checklist initiative to strengthen shift-to-shift communication and standardize safety checks.
