What I'm looking for
I started at Vantage Circle in 2023 as the only SEO for Vantage Fit, our employee wellness product for the US market. There was no team to hand things to, so I ended up learning every part of the job: keyword research, content briefs, on-page, technical audits, schema, log-file analysis, programmatic page builds, and multilingual SEO across Spanish, French, and German.
The defining stretch of my career so far was the recovery after Google's Helpful Content Update. I diagnosed the root cause, pruned low-value content, and rebuilt our architecture around a semantic topical map. That work took us to Top 10 rankings for 140+ commercial keywords and 2.6x higher traffic value per visit. Demo conversions from organic grew 7x over my time here.
Two things I care about most right now. First, AI search: I've earned 190+ AI Overview placements and built custom GA4 tracking for referral traffic from ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, because that's where organic is heading. Second, building tools: I've made 20+ custom SEO tools with Claude Code, from brief generators to index monitors and content decay audits, plus an n8n keyword research automation. My technical SEO work has earned recognition from our CTO more than once, including fixes I ship directly in the codebase myself.
I go deepest in three areas. On the strategy side: semantic SEO, topical authority, entity SEO, internal linking, site architecture, and content briefs that get non-expert writers to expert-level output. On the technical side: audits, schema, log-file analysis, crawl budget, and programmatic SEO at scale. And across all of it, AI-assisted automation, both using AI search to win visibility and building AI tooling to move faster. I've done this in B2B SaaS, but the fundamentals travel, and I'd take the right role in any industry. What I want next is simple: a senior SEO role where the organic channel is my responsibility, with the room to build systems around it.
