Julio César Galicia

I am an Agricultural Engineer with professional experience in climate resilience, rural development, agroforestry systems, and project implementation in Guatemala. Over the years, I have worked in technical coordination, field operations, monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and support for vulnerable farming communities through sustainable agricultural and environmental initiatives.

My experience includes planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of projects funded through international cooperation, with work focused on strengthening livelihoods, climate change adaptation, food security, and sustainable natural resource management. I have also participated in training processes, technical assistance, and capacity building for producers and local actors.

Additionally, I have experience in designing and implementing methodologies and systems to improve resilience among smallholder farmers under challenging environmental conditions. I am comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Development Projects and I am interested in remote and international opportunities related to project coordination, operations, consulting, climate resilience, rural development, monitoring and evaluation, and sustainable agriculture.

I enjoy learning, solving complex problems, improving processes, and contributing to projects that create measurable social and environmental impact.
