julian david velasquez patiño

Backend and full-stack developer with nearly two years of experience in real production systems, AI service integration and business process automation, based in Cali, Colombia.

At Jungle One (Aug 2024 – Mar 2026) I built modules for Universidad Insurgentes (Mexico): a digital document-signing service in Python/C#/PHP handling ~75,000 signed documents per semester, a uniform-management module in SQL Server covering 9 campuses (~4,200 uniforms per semester), and an AI photo-validation workflow (AWS Rekognition and Bedrock) that cut manual review time by 80% and rework by 70%.

Since February 2026 I have worked as an independent developer for several clients: a BI dashboard in React/TypeScript connected to GoHighLevel through n8n workflows with an AI node (10% more new clients, 20% faster decisions), an AI chatbot in GoHighLevel that qualifies leads and books appointments (35% faster response times), Google Maps API and push-notification features for the Cheki platform (React + NestJS), and an attendance-control dashboard integrated with a biometric device (React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker).

Stack: Python, FastAPI, Flask, TypeScript, React, NestJS, C#/.NET, PHP/Symfony, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Docker, AWS, n8n. Spanish native; English upper-intermediate (strong technical reading, conversation improving). Looking for remote backend, full-stack or applied-AI roles.
