Juan David Serna

I’m a Computer Science and Applied Mathematics student who builds with urgency, curiosity, and strong quantitative thinking. I’ve combined early entrepreneurship with hands-on engineering, including co-founding a streetwear brand at 15.

As Lead Software Developer at Betterlife Coaching, I designed and developed a personal finance mobile app focused on budgeting, income/expense tracking, and balance visualization. I worked with a multidisciplinary team to shape product vision around financial freedom, and implemented features with Flutter and Firebase through structured UI components.

Most recently, I built an agentic AI tutoring system at Softserve Inc. using LangGraph—creating a multi-agent workflow that diagnoses knowledge gaps and generates personalized study roadmaps. I also develop an automated trading platform (Python) that uses indicators like VWAP, OBV, and Ichimoku, connecting broker APIs for paper-trading execution and performance monitoring.
