I’m looking for a role where I can own SQL Server/Azure SQL reliability, optimize performance, and automate health reporting—collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable data and warehouse solutions with clear SLA ownership.

I’m a SQL Server DBA consultant with hands-on data engineering, data warehousing development, reporting automation, and application support. I focus on keeping production databases stable, observable, and fast—especially across SQL Server and Azure SQL Database environments.

In my recent work, I managed SQL Server and Azure SQL Database environments, overseeing maintenance for 50+ servers using Grafana, miniDBA, and Datadog. I led migration and deployment of Azure SQL Database and Elastic Pool, then enhanced performance by tuning indexes on slow stored procedures and queries using Query Store and Sentry Plan Explorer.

I also build automation that reduces operational load and improves responsiveness. I streamlined SQL Server Health Check Report automation through PowerShell scripts, automated Azure DevOps work items using email and Power Automate, and used alerts (email and MS Teams) to capture long-running sessions and disk latency.

Earlier, as a Systems Analyst/Senior Manager at BDO Unibank, I oversaw operations for a Managed File Transfer Platform, ensuring uptime and resolving issues within SLA while aligning deployments and compliance with Enterprise Architects’ policies. Prior to that, I handled data warehouse and BI needs—developing ETL with SSIS and stored procedures and leveraging Elastic-Logstash-Kibana for data visualization—along with SQL Server infrastructure administration and Microsoft Azure certifications.
