What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead compliant visa/immigration workflows, mentor a team, and apply data-driven process innovations. I want cross-border collaboration, clear standards, and measurable operational impact.

I’m an immigration and visa professional with 7+ years of progressive responsibility across U.S. immigration processes, consular operations, and international consulting. I combine strong command of visa regulations with consultative, client-facing support—bringing bilingual clarity in Spanish and English to complex, high-stakes cases.

As a Visa Manager at the U.S. Department of State, I served as a subject matter expert and team lead, overseeing end-to-end adjudication and resolution for complex immigrant visa cases in a high-volume post. I acted as a key liaison between the U.S. government and foreign nationals, guiding document compliance and case readiness while advising senior consular leadership on workflow improvements and cross-border coordination.

Before that, as a Consular Assistant, I strengthened accuracy and transparency by developing streamlined visa processing solutions with digital tools like Power Automate, Excel, and SharePoint and programming with HTML, JS, and CSS. I also supported high-volume inquiries as a trusted point of contact, and I led and delivered international training and consulting assignments—improving standardization, operational efficiency, and compliance through civil document evaluation.

I’m recognized by the U.S. Department of State with multiple Mission Honor Awards and a Leadership Award for innovation, performance, and operational excellence, including major improvements to immigrant visa processing and prescreening programs. I bring a continuous-improvement mindset, data-informed decision-making, and a service-first approach to every case, client interaction, and team objective.
