José Nieto

My career has focused on international retail fit-out and store installation. From 2023 to September 2026, I worked with Shop Innovation / Fator Convergente Ltda on IKEA store build-ups and rebuilds in Colombia, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, and Sweden. My experience includes reading technical plans, taking site measurements, installing IKEA racking and FAAY systems, and completing furniture installation and finishing work.

On active projects, I coordinate assigned tasks with installation teams, follow work sequences and deadlines, check quality, and adapt when site conditions change. I enjoy practical problem-solving and working with people from different backgrounds.

I’m now looking to move into project operations, project assistant or coordinator, and customer support or success roles, ideally with a technology or SaaS company. I’m interested in how digital tools help teams organize work and support customers. I have basic Excel and Canva skills and am keen to keep learning. I’m based in Canelas, Porto, authorized to work in Portugal, and speak Spanish natively, English at B2, Portuguese at B1, and beginner Italian.
