Joshua Komolafe

At Siemens Mobility, I lead rolling-stock engineering and optimisation projects from problem definition through technical assessment, planning, approval and implementation. I led engineering optimisation workstreams in a major fleet programme that delivered more than £10m in business cost savings.

I lead the Thameslink Class 700 overhaul and maintenance-optimisation programme across multiple workstreams, building plans, milestones, dependencies, decision gates and ownership for long-term fleet requirements. I use Jira, delivery trackers and clear stakeholder reporting to manage risks, unblock work and support timely decisions in a regulated, safety-critical environment.

Alongside engineering delivery, I founded One Pager and took a consumer iOS product from concept to working beta. I own roadmap priorities, requirements, integrations, testing and feedback-led improvements, working hands-on with React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Hono/tRPC, Supabase and REST APIs.

Earlier at Siemens Energy, I delivered manufacturing and digitalisation improvement projects and built a QlikView dashboard for live operational visibility. I use Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to streamline documentation, reporting and delivery administration.
