At Kenya National Library Service (KNLS), I led the Mayan EDMS rollout and supported staff capacity building. The system supports secure, paperless records management.
I deploy library systems including Koha and AMLIB, and oversee LAN/WLAN infrastructure, security, and IT support. I’ve also conducted digital literacy training for staff and over 2,000 users.
Through the KNLS-American Corner collaboration, I contributed to a long-term partnership and assisted in coordinating American Spaces programs in Nakuru. I also championed Learning Circle-P2PU programs in Kenya and introduced them to Uganda.
As Chairperson of YALI Kenya’s Partnerships & Resource Mobilization work, I contributed to partnerships and grant work, including securing KSh 2.9M in USAID funding for a clean water project. I’m motivated to use digital technology to solve real-world challenges, expand information access, and support inclusive development through innovation and public service.
